4th of July

We had a fun-filled 4th of July this year despite the heat! In the morning we headed out to the Delano parade with Grandpa & Grandma Libby where we met up with Chad's sisters and their families. The kids loved the parade and lasted for the majority of it. Some of the things they really liked were the freeze pops that they got from one of the floats, the go-cart racers, the marching bands, and the fire trucks - those were Carson's favorite! Peyton's favorite thing was the new Basset Hound puppy (Bentley) that Auntie Therese brought with. After the parade we made a mad dash home to feed the kids lunch and get them down for naps. Later that afternoon we went over to our friend's Brad & Timari's for a BBQ with all of the families from our small group. We had some great food, the kids played with their friends, and then we finished the night off with a dip in the pool. Hope you all had a great 4th like we did!
