While we were in Florida on spring break we visited The Shell Factory which is basically a big warehouse full of bins piled high of every shell you could imagine. Right by the check out counter there were a couple of life-size pirate statues...one was a skeleton dressed in pirate clothing and then there was this guy sitting down who had a creepy eye and apparently was another pirate. Well Peyton saw the guy who was sitting down and instantly ran over to him. She stood there staring at him trying to figure out what to think, then she started talking to him and said, "You sad? I hug you." She was SO worried about him - she kept asking me "He crying? Have owie on eye?"
She's such an empathetic little thing!!
