"I don't want to see you for another 2 years!"

Most people would be offended if someone said that to them. But this morning when the Pediatric Neurologist said that to me it was music to my ears!! Since Peyton's brachial plexus (shoulder) injury to her right side at birth we've seen Dr. Janoucek on a fairly regular basis. He's been monitoring her over the past 4 1/2 years and he was thrilled to see how far she's come since the first time we stepped foot in his office when Peyton was 2 months old and so helpless with her injured little arm flopping around limply. It's crazy to think the next time we go back Peyton will be 6 1/2 (and probably taller than me the rate she's going) and in school!!! Weird.

I have to say this was a great way to end the week. After coming pretty close to losing my mind with an appointment of some sort for Peyton EVERY day this week, plus work being absolutely insane, I was happy to see that not only did we make it through the week, but we got some good news!!

Thanks to all of you who have been praying for Peyton (and us!) - we sure do appreciate your thoughts and prayers. They're definitely working. A special thank you to those of you who have volunteered to help out with Carson while I'm running Peyton all over creation each week, too. God is good!
